New Delhi: A bug or virus is becoming increasingly viral on Whatsapp these days. Your whitespace may crash as soon as this bug or virus is opened. Even because of this bug, Android smartphones are also crashing. According to media reports many such complaints have come up. This message is being sent as a code, which overloads whatsapp on tap and sometimes also the operating system of your smartphone, causing the smartphone to crash. This bug has surfaced when Whatsapp is going to add new features to instant message. Whatsapp is now going to add picture-in-picture mode to playing Facebook and Instagram videos.
According to SlashGear's report, it has been termed as a message bomb. This is a special craft message that contains hidden symbols. The message starts appearing as soon as you click on this message. After which the app over loads and many times the operating system crashes.
These messages and message bombs are not new nor are they limited to the Android operating system. They may also affect other operating systems. According to the report, these messages are of two types. There are several black dot in one that is coming up with a warring message.
On the other hand, the message is being sent as a message bomb, in which no varning of any kind is being given. In the message, special characters have been used, which do not appear but change the behavior of the text. Whatsapp has not commented on this bug yet. Let's say that WhatsApp has more than 150 million users worldwide. In India, this instant messaging app is used by more than 200 million people.
