A Search Committee appointed by Hon. Governor of Gujarat for the appointment of Vice Chancellor of Saurashtra University is seeking applications/ nominations, with the intent to widen the search process. The person of the highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional commitment shall be considered for the post of Vice Chancellor. Person should be a distinguished academician with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as Professor in a University system or ten (10) years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization.
The Application/Nomination in the prescribed form should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as “Application/Nomination for Vice-Chancellor’s Position” addressed to the Registrar, Saurashtra University, University Road, Rajkot-360005, Gujarat, India on or before30-12-2017. The Search Committee reserves the right to consider persons of eminence outside the list of such nominations also.
